Rumors-

• Supposedly the Yankees are shopping Godzilla with the Giants. They are not interested in Noah Lowry. Bad deal. Keep Matsui unless you can get Santana for him straight up (well I don't want to trade him sorry).
  
• The Yankees have reportedly talked with Japanese free agent Kazuo Fukumori in search of affordable bullpen help. Could he be the next Okajima? I like this idea but Fukumori is in search of a 2 year deal and I don't know if the Yankees can afford to do that right now.
• Hank Steinbrenner is supposedly screwing up the Yankees by popping his mouth off. I say show me proof of this because all I see is him accomplishing the goals we set out to accomplish.
  

• Andy Phillips is looking for a fresh start. He has declined the Yankees outright designation to AAA ball and has become a free agent. It's tough to see a class act like Andy get cast aside. Good luck Phillips, I will be rooting for you.
• The Viz has declined arbitration and has also become a free agent. The Viz was looking for a multi-year deal but the Yankees are not willing to commit to a reliever for more than one or two seasons.
  
• The Yankees are still the best team in Major League Baseball regardless of who won the World Series in 2007.
